Who We Are
The team at Covenant Building & Remodeling Inc comes with extensive experience in building new homes. In recent years, we’ve forayed into the remodeling sector. Our focus has always been to provide a personal experience to our clients. We firmly believe in honesty, commitment, and quality.
Rick Kroyer, the owner of Covenant Building & Remodeling, has the experience of working with Al Smisek, owner of both Al Smisek Builders Inc. and MARK Designs Inc.
He has worked under Al Smisek for many projects in various capacities such as a lead carpenter, superintendent, and project manager, over a span of 30 years. Rick developed an eye for detail as he went on to become a part of building new homes ranging from starter homes to executive mansions.
In 2015, Rick purchased the company from Al Smisek and renamed it to Covenant Building & Remodeling Inc – a name that would stand for the focus on the honest commitment to quality and detail within the company.
Our team will be happy to help you build a home on your lot or we can also use our connections within the real estate community to find you a dream lot.

Rick has worked as a remodeler, lead carpenter, superintendent, and project manager for over 35 years. Rick has proved himself to be a master craftsman. He strongly believes that commitment to honesty guarantee customer satisfaction. Quality and an eye for detail are very important to Rick no matter the project size.
Josh Cramond / Master Craftsman
Josh has been working under Rick Kroyer for over five years. He began his career as a framer after graduation at Winona State University. He has been inspired by his father and his work ethic and says that finish work is what he enjoys the most in carpentry.
